Kantan Royale

“Perhaps the most telling sign of the things to come, was the great exodus from Kantan. The general populace of the slaver city, an oasis among the wilds, chose to flee into the Savage Mountains during the wane of the rainy season, rather than risk the results of the upheaval the Keepers of Lir had wrought.”

-Opening of the final chapter of “The Reunion”, as told by Yenros the Dauntless

The great city of the slavers is nearly vacant. Following the trial by combat between house Dun’Ka and The Keepers of Lir, and the subsequent schism between the houses of The Consortium, the common folk have chosen the rain and the wilds of the Savage Mountains over the savages of war among the great houses.

The party prepares for the final confrontation in the arena, a fight that carries more weight than just the right to the Robe of Stars and title of “Champion”, it will also determine if the Cos Brothers are toppled from power. Their allies demand that order be preserved, even as the Cos Brothers lose their desperate hold on the mountain citadel.

Once inside the arena for the final bought, events take another shocking turn. The Cos Brother’s champion is a familiar face, and he does not care to do his masters’ bidding. Fighting spills out from the arena and into the stands. Open warfare among the houses has begun.
