In addition to the pilot, a feral sea runner requires a crew of two, all of whom use a standard action each round to help control the ship. Reduce the ship’s speed by 2 squares for each missing crew member. At speed 0, the runner sails out of control.

An out-of-control runner moves forward at half speed. At the Dungeon Master’s discretion, it can instead move in the same direction as a strong wind.
A runner has a single deck with storage compartments beneath the decking. These compartments can be accessed by lifting the flooring of the deck.
At the Dungeon Master’s discretion, a runner can take a modifier to its speed of -2 to +2 depending on the strength and direction of the wind.
