Blade of the Old World
|Blade of the Old WorldLevel 10 Rare|
|A finely crafted metal blade from the days of the Ancients. It once was used by the arch druids that watched over the land and living creatures. This once cursed weapon has been purified by Sa-Nah-Gig into a weapon that remembers the glories and crimes of the past.|
|Weapon: Magic Metal Dagger (Priceless)
|Right after you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points with an implement attack or a weapon attack using this ki focus, you can shift 1 square as a free action.|
|Power Daily (Free Action)|
|Trigger: You use your Flurry of Blows power.
Effect: During this turn, each bloodied enemy you damage with your Flurry of Blows power cannot regain hit points until the end of your next turn.
|Special. Use this power during a short or an extended rest only. You learn the direction and rough distance to the nearest Ley Nexus.|
|Power (Zone) Encounter (Standard Action)|
|When you plant this blade in your space or an adjacent square, it creates a zone in a close burst 3. Enemies within the zone when it is created or within the zone at the start of your turn are pulled 2 squares toward the planted dagger and slowed until the start of your next turn.
The zone lasts until the end of the encounter or until the blade is removed from the ground. Any character in or adjacent to the dagger’s square can remove it from the ground as a standard action. If an enemy attempts to remove the dagger, it provokes opportunity attacks from you and your allies.
|Ki focus (A ki focus is an implement that certain classes use as a focus for their inner magical energy, known as their ki. A ki focus might take the form of a training manual, a scroll of ancient secrets, or a blunt training weapon. To use a ki focus, you must first attune yourself to it. Some characters study their ki focus to attune themselves to it. Others meditate with it or wield it as they practice their fighting techniques. Once you have attuned yourself to a ki focus, you must either wear or hold it to use it as an implement.)|
